Pastor Marcie Hendrick and Kristie Butler joined the show to share details on the upcoming A Night of Giving Hope event in Jackson — an event designed to offer support and hope to local residents during challenging times — with organizers anticipating strong community turnout.

The Jackson Symphony Orchestra will kick off the holiday season early with its 'Lights, Camera, Christmas! – Holiday Pops' concert at the Carl Perkins Civic Center at 400 South Highland Avenue on November 14 at 7:30 p.m.—the event is moved earlier due to planned renovations in December.

Today, the UT AgResearch Center in Jackson held a ribbon cutting to unveil new buildings, greenhouses, and modern farming equipment to help local growers improve efficiency. UT President Randy Boyd and Senior VP Keith Carver noted that government funds enabled these upgrades—boosting agricultural research and education.
