- ➤ The Jackson-Madison County School System will hold its first district-wide spelling bee in over 20 years on Jan. 22 at Liberty High School auditorium at 5:30 p.m. Elementary and middle school students will compete for a chance to qualify for regionals and the national contest. WBBJ-TV
- ➤ Jackson-Madison County School System is now accepting Open Enrollment applications for families who want to enroll their children in schools outside their zoned areas (high school applications are accepted until Feb. 6 and elementary and middle until Mar. 6).
