- ➤ Students at Lane College say dorm rooms have pests, mold, roaches, and water damage as maintenance teams struggle to fix problems amid a change in custodial staff (some students even resorted to placing towels under their doors). - ➤ More than 50,000 applications have been received for Tennessee's Education Freedom Scholarships for the 2026-27 school year, letting families cover private school tuition. Gov.
