- ➤ State gas prices increased five cents last week to ($2.49), but Jackson pump prices reached ($2.54), placing the region among the 12th least expensive markets nationwide, according to a GasBuddy press release from Monday, Jan. 19. WBBJ-TV

- ➤ Jackson-Madison County General Hospital introduced a new treatment for urge urinary incontinence on Jan. 19 with its first Altaviva implant (a minimally invasive procedure that stimulates the tibial nerve) at West Tennessee Healthcare.
