CRIME NEWS

  • A targeted shooting at Slim Chickens in Jackson resulted in one fatality and three injuries, with the shooter now in custody and police not seeking additional suspects.  WBBJ-TV

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Madison County Commissioners allocated opioid lawsuit funds to local nonprofits and approved $60,000 for a traffic study related to the new Pope School, while also discussing road improvements with the city.  WBBJ-TV
