- ➤ First Presbyterian Church of Jackson hosted the SOUPer Bowl of Caring this morning on Super Bowl Sunday, inviting neighbors to bring a pot of soup & donate food and money for RIFA and the local pantry. Monetary contributions will be accepted until Saturday, Feb. 15. WBBJ-TV
- ➤ The Hub City Flea Market returned on Sunday at the Jackson Fairgrounds where locals found unique gifts ahead of Valentine's Day & vendors like Crystal Neels from The Cookie Nook will return on March 6, 7, & 8. WBBJ-TV
- ➤ VFW Post 1848 hosted its annual Super Bowl Party to unite veterans and service members in Jackson. The event featured CJ’s Kitchen Food Truck, multiple screens showing the game, and games & friendly competition. WBBJ-TV
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Elks Lodge #192 in Jackson hosted a Super Bowl LX celebration on Sunday with a watch party, chili and cornbread cook-off awarding top prizes to Kelli Carroll and Cindy Lamberth. The lodge will hold an 80’s Valentine Prom Night with special musical guest L’80s Nite Band on Saturday, Feb. 14. WBBJ-TV
