- ➤ Leaders Education Foundation announced EPlus Broadband as the presenting sponsor for EmpowerEd: An Evening with John O’Leary, scheduled for Sept. 17 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson. - ➤ Jackson has reopened most parks as the ice melts today, allowing residents to use park spaces and resume outdoor programs. The parks department said Cypress Grove (still closed) and Muse Park (also closed) will remain off-limits until further details are provided. WNBJ 39
- ➤ Hardin County Fire Department warns residents not to burn storm debris after the storm left fallen trees and branches. Residents should take debris to Landfill Lane in Bucktown (permit required if burning). WNBJ 39
