At Arlington Elementary, volunteers provided 630 students with new shoes and socks on Feb.

10 as part of the Heart and Sole program that has aided over 6,000 students since 2019. High school athlete Haylen Ayers, a New Balance ambassador, supported the effort & promoted good hygiene practices.

Elks Lodge #192 will host its first-ever 80's Prom Night this weekend with live music by Nashville band L-80's Nite, and tickets cost ($40).

Guests may choose to dress in 80's prom attire, and both singles and couples can plan to attend.

The TSU Alumni Association (Jackson Chapter) hosted its 10th annual Valentine’s Scholarship Dinner and Gala in Jackson to support local high school graduates entering TSU.

Mrs. Roslyn Wilson, the association’s president, said the event celebrated ten years of community sponsorship.

On Friday, Feb. 13, the Lady Lions celebrated Senior Night at Scotts Hill during their final regular season game.

Today, the Tennessee Sports Writers Association and USA TODAY Network released statewide high school boys basketball rankings showing Eagleville as top in Division I Class 1A with a (24-0) record based on votes from local publications; weekly updates will continue until the season ends.
