  • Rev. Jesse Jackson died peacefully Tuesday morning at age 84 after a long battle with a neurodegenerative condition. Community leaders in Jackson remember his historic marches with Dr. King (and his founding of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition) as a lasting legacy that inspires action for justice and equality.  WBBJ-TV
  • St. Luke's Episcopal Church hosted its annual Mardi Gras pancake supper fundraiser in Jackson to support its music program after postponing a choir trip to England due to travel concerns.  WBBJ-TV

  • Celebrating Jazz Appreciation Month, the Terell Stafford Quartet will perform at The Ned on Apr. 11 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 314 East Main Street in downtown Jackson.  WNBJ 39
