On Saturday, Feb. 21, The Formed church held a community block party on Carriage House Drive in north Jackson where attendees enjoyed free groceries, hot food, haircuts and bouncy houses for kids while leaders offered community resources until supplies ran out.

Saturday night the Jackson-Madison Chamber hosted its 25th Jewel Awards at the Carl Perkins Civic Center to honor local businesses including Serenity Living Home Care, Taylor Medical Center, Client Comprehensive Services, and Turning Heads Hair Salon.
