- ➤ St. John #2 Missionary Baptist Church in Denmark held a Black History Month service at 191 Bond Cemetery Road that featured gospel, choir singing, youth dancing, and a live history museum honoring key Black American figures including Billy Harris and Martin Luther King, Jr. Guests joined a fellowship meal afterward. - ➤ Hub City Theatre Company is presenting its new WWII drama A Thing of Beauty at the chapel at First United Methodist Church in downtown Jackson; performances began on Feb. 20 and will continue until March 1 (tickets cost $20 and are available in person or online). WBBJ-TV
- ➤ St. Nicholas Orthodox Christian Church held its Forgiveness Sunday service from 1 to 2:30 p.m. (419 Old Humboldt Road) to mark the beginning of Lent as members practiced forgiveness within the community. WBBJ-TV
