- ➤ Jackson residents are facing higher electric bills following a winter storm three weeks ago as increased usage raised costs. Jackson Energy Authority said there is no rate change — usage alone is driving the steep bills. WNBJ 39

- ➤ Jackson Museum School announced its permanent home at the old YMCA building on Campbell Street; the charter school will open this fall for grades K-2 and add one grade each year.
