- ➤ Julianna Fallon, an 18-year-old Kansas City native, was crowned Miss Teen Volunteer America 2027 at a ceremony Saturday night in Hub City. She will launch her Hope for Every Heart service initiative – honoring her late aunt and thanking her family for support – as she begins her new term. WBBJ-TV

- ➤ Lane College hosted its 12th annual Scholarship Gala at the J.F. Lane Gymnasium on campus beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday & the event supported student scholarships while featuring a guest performance from Grammy Award winner Kierra Sheard-Kelly. WBBJ-TV
