- ➤ Centennial Bank held its grand opening on Monday at 420 Oil Well Road in the Hub City and shared plans to expand its partnership with the Bank of Jackson — a bank founded in 1916 by 10 investors including two of the owner’s grandfathers. WBBJ-TV

- ➤ Our Jackson Home partners with the City of Jackson to install seven new art projects downtown. The initiatives include murals at The Ned, Royal Street, and the Carnegie, two alleyway pieces at UT (plant sale May 1-2), and a Highland Avenue arch scheduled for August to enrich local culture.
