- ➤ Today, Tennessee's average gasoline price fell to $2.66 per gallon—a drop of 2.2 cents from last week and 51.2 cents lower than a year ago based on GasBuddy's survey of 3,821 stations. The state's price is 8.2 cents lower than last month's level while the national average now stands at $3.08 per gallon. WYN 106.9

- ➤ Meteorologists have noted an increase in tornado activity in the Southeast with recent events in Tennessee leading experts to use the term Dixie Alley — even though Tennessee is not in the official Tornado Alley.
