  • Parks and Recreation held a community meeting at Muse Park to review expansion plans with residents and discuss funding options. The department will apply to the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation to improve both the park's north and south sides.  WBBJ-TV

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • After a fatal bus crash on March 27 in Carroll County killed two Kenwood Middle School students, Jackson schools superintendent King expressed deep sorrow and confirmed that today's Toyota Hub City Grand Prix at Rockabilly Stadium will include grief counselors + a private safe space for reflection.  The Jackson Sun

  • Friday morning, the Southwest Legislative Forum at Rychen Auditorium highlighted legislative updates on early education and youth justice for local families, including changes to the Smart Steps Program and school funding definitions.
