  • Hilary Griffith and Katie Howerton unveiled a new mural at the Farmers’ Market in Jackson after taking part in Our Jackson Home’s Design Dash earlier this year. The duo, who never designed a mural before, created their first large-scale community art piece — brightening a local space.  The Jackson Post

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • District 8 Representative David Kustoff spoke at the Jackson Rotary Club Wednesday afternoon on immigration and economy issues — he is now serving his fifth term since he was first elected in 2016.  The Jackson Post

SPORTS NEWS

  • Tennessee football may consider UCLA quarterback Joey Aguilar as a transfer option to replace Nico Iamaleava—Aguilar has not entered the transfer portal yet and his agents are contacting schools after his record-setting career at Appalachian State.
