CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Federal authorities have indicted five people in West Tennessee on drug charges tied to a Mexican cartel as the group sold fentanyl, meth, and marijuana for over two years + officials seized 30,000 fentanyl pills, 16 pounds of meth, and 10 kilos of cocaine while all suspects now face multiple conspiracy charges. - ➤ The Hatchie Birdfest, held from Friday through Sunday at the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center in Brownsville, began with a concert by The Dirt Pilgrims and offers free bird watching hikes, speaker sessions and vendor demonstrations at Hatchie National Wildlife Refuge—giving both beginners and expert birders a hands-on chance to see over 200 bird species.
