  • Camp Clark Williamson celebrated its 65th anniversary on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at 390 Mason Road in Three Way—activities included tournaments, a barbecue contest, and a time for worship with free food provided.  WBBJ TV
  • The Regional Inter-Faith Association will host its annual Stamp Out Hunger food collection event on May 10—gathering food donations to support local needs as summer begins.  The Jackson Post
  • West Tennessee Healthcare Therapy and Learning Center held its 10th annual Splash and Dash last Saturday at 10 a.m. at West Jackson Baptist Church — children and their families enjoyed activities including a superhero-themed race, kiddie car wash, petting zoo, water slide and obstacle courses.  WYN 106.9

CRIME NEWS

  • Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward for information on alleged Fentanyl possession in Jackson and urges residents to call 731-424-8477.  WYN 106.9

CULTURE NEWS

  • On Saturday, the Jackson Theatre Guild staged Music Man, Jr. at the Ned, featuring local young talent in two performances—one in the evening at 7 p.m. for those who missed the earlier show.  WYN 106.9

HEALTH NEWS

  • A federal health agency confirmed 935 measles cases nationwide this year with outbreaks active in 10 states including Tennessee, where 6 cases have been reported—3 of which are linked. Two children and an adult have already died from measles‐related illnesses, and experts warn that low vaccination rates could allow the spread to continue.  WYN 106.9
