- ➤ Leaders Credit Union won the Desjardins Adult Financial Education Award from the Tennessee Credit Union League after its team taught 110 financial literacy courses to community members in West Tennessee. - ➤ State officials warn locals that a text message scam claims toll fees are due and includes a suspicious link—residents must not click the link and should report the message to the FBI. The Tennessee Highway Department said it never requests toll payments by text. WNBJ 39

- ➤ Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital has named Joseph D. King, M.D., as its new Chief of Pediatric Anesthesiology. Dr. King joined from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and will lead the team to improve patient care — his experience is expected to boost safety and innovation in treatment. WYN 106.9
- ➤ Pediatric Emergency Physician Rudy Kink from Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital advised parents to keep one adult with children while swimming + use life jackets and avoid jumping into water where the bottom cannot be seen.
