TCAT Practical Nursing students and staff hosted their 2nd annual food drive on Saturday (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) at the Brownsville Amphitheater.
Residents donated canned food, snacks, and hygiene items to help combat hunger in the local community.
TN Central Women’s Department held the Rainbow Breakfast on Saturday morning at Lane College, where women from across the region gathered to celebrate with colorful dresses and accessories.
Attendees donated ($25) at the door to support the event.

High school boys soccer playoffs kicked off in the Jackson area with region semifinals on Tuesday, May 12 and finals on Thursday, May 14.
