- ➤ Tennessee began accepting applications for Education Freedom Scholarships on May 15 for the 2025—26 school year, offering 20,000 vouchers statewide to help pay for private K‑12 school costs. The first 10,000 vouchers go to students in families with income restrictions while the remaining vouchers have no income limits. The Jackson Sun
- ➤ Jackson Central-Merry held its graduation ceremony at the Carl Perkins Civic Center on May 14, where students and families celebrated academic achievements.
