- ➤ Local middle school students from the Do the Write Thing essay contest were honored this morning at the Hilton Garden Inn in Jackson for writing about preventing violence; the top essayist will attend the national summit in Washington D.C. (July 11). WBBJ-TV
- ➤ The Jackson-Madison County Library hosted a dinosaur themed scavenger hunt today for kids who solved clues to win a prize and will begin its summer reading series, Unearth a Story, in June to promote library learning. WBBJ-TV
