- ➤ MAT Industries, a global manufacturer of air compressors and brake tanks, announced today that it will expand in Jackson by investing at least $9 million+ creating 30 new jobs and increasing its local workforce to nearly 260 people. The expansion will add multiple production lines and strengthen the company’s presence in West Tennessee. WYN 106.9
- ➤ TGI Fridays on Vann Drive in Jackson was demolished and is now rubble—Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers will replace it once the site is cleared. There is no word yet on when construction will begin. WNBJ 39
