- ➤ The Jackson-Madison Chapter DAR hosted Women’s Veterans Day today, honoring nearly 50 women veterans at the VFW Post 6496 (285 Airways Boulevard) in Jackson beginning at 2 p.m. The event, co-sponsored by the James Madison Chapter Sons of the American Revolution, featured door prizes and a guest message by Carroll County’s Veteran Service Officer Renee Myers.
