- ➤ Jackson Police Department is accepting pre-applications for its Fall 2025 Citizen Police Academy, an eight-week course that meets Tuesday nights from 6 to 8 p.m. Applicants must be at least 21 and meet eligibility rules, and they will be notified by email with the next steps once applications close.
