The event marks the beginning of a weeklong series of pageant competitions.
The Jackson-Madison County School Board approved the driveway plan for East Elementary during its meeting on Thursday, June 11.
The board said the plan will improve school access and additional details are to be shared soon.
Trey Smith relaunched his football camp for middle and high school players at University School of Jackson on Friday, June 12.
The camp provided focused training to help local athletes sharpen their skills.
