- ➤ Authorities issued arrest warrants today for Jose Inocencio Fraire Chavez (39) on charges of illegal alien in possession of a firearm, willful failure to comply with removal procedures, and flight to avoid prosecution following incidents in Obion County as federal and local agencies work together to locate him and his child, who have not been seen in Union City since May 2. - ➤ The Jackson-Madison County Library's North Branch at 8 Stonebridge Boulevard is hosting a free edu-tainment performance by Magic Mr. Nick that promises wonder, laughter, and learning for children and adults. - ➤ During the weekend of June 14 and 15, athletes from across Tennessee competed in the second weekend of the inaugural State Games of Tennessee in Jackson, running a 5K Trail Run at Pugh Bourne Park, playing cornhole at the Jackson Fairgrounds and competing in disc golf at The Bend on Highland as well as a 5K run that began at the Farmer's Market.
