- ➤ On Friday, July 11th at 10:20 p.m., police responded to a shooting on the 1300 block of Campbell Street in East Jackson that left one unidentified Black male dead & investigators are asking anyone with information to come forward. WBBJ-TV

- ➤ Yesterday, the Theta Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi hosted a free health fair at 10 a.m. at the TR White Sportsplex in Jackson. The event offered health resources (from West TN Rehab, Pathways, and Transitional Care) and food trucks, and a community cookout with back-to-school supplies for grades K-8 is planned for July 26.
