Gas prices in Jackson rose to $3.53 as statewide rates increased by 13 cents last week, bringing the average to $3.49.

A summer film acting and production camp for teens runs through Friday at the Cultural Arts Center on East Main Street.

The National Parks Service advises using caution & maintaining awareness when encountering the bear.
