Delta Sigma Theta Sorority donated hair care products to the Dream Center on Saturday at Delta Center at 96 Oneal Street in Jackson—these supplies are reserved for young African-American women and children who need them.

Counselor Scott Thorson collected the donations while Tamesha Murphy said each contribution supports the center’s programming.

The annual RIFA Pack the Bus event took place Saturday across Jackson—drop-off sites included Kroger on University and Stonebrook Place, Sam’s Club, and Walmart North and South Highland—to collect easy-to-prepare food items that help fill weekend meal gaps for local students.
