- ➤ Community members rallied together to support those battling Alzheimer’s—taking part in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s held Saturday morning at Rockabilly Stadium in Jackson where participants began at 9 a.m. and raised funds for the Alzheimer’s Association. WYN 106.9

- ➤ The Jackson Symphony held its 45th annual Starlight Symphony concert on Saturday evening on the lawn at First Presbyterian Church — perfect weather set the stage for families to relax with chairs, blankets and picnics while enjoying classical tunes, Broadway hits and American anthems. WYN 106.9
- ➤ Downtown Jackson will host the free Jacob Barker Music Festival on October 3rd and 4th — featuring live local music, a BBQ contest, and a check presentation for Make-A-Wish Midsouth on October 4th at 6:45.
