The Greater Jackson Chamber held a dedication for the Men of Hope Sober Living House on Luray Road in Beech Bluff on Thursday—this new center is a free, nonprofit 12-month faith-based residential program where men and women receive mentoring, counseling and classes to help recover from addiction and abuse.

Local leaders like mayors and school presidents danced at the Dancing with the STARs fundraiser held today at the Carl Perkins Civic Center—where six pairs and Ballet Arts of Jackson performed.
