- ➤ Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in downtown Jackson marked its 115th anniversary today at 201 West Chester Street, inviting the community for fellowship. Church leaders including Pastors Ricky Reed, Steve Trailer, Marcus Perkins, and Rev. Lee Wilkins spoke during the celebration—one of the few churches to remain a downtown anchor for so long. CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The West TN Quartet Reunion Association presented A Night of Worship at 4 p.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church (106 Glass Street) in Jackson. The free benefit concert featured male and female vocalists singing songs of praise while donations were accepted for charities, with proceeds going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, and Christ Community Health Center.
