- ➤ Residents gathered outside Jackson City Hall to celebrate the holiday season as the community lit a Christmas tree on Tuesday evening (just before the Christmas Parade began). Santa Claus and Misses Claus greeted children (adding extra cheer) during the event. WBBJ TV
- ➤ The Salvation Army Jackson launched its annual Red Kettle initiative on Giving Tuesday — red kettles are set up at Walmart, Sams Club, and The Columns to collect donations until December 24th — to help support local families with food and utility needs. WNBJ 39

- ➤ The Wild Petal is now open in Milan, Tenn and offers eco-friendly bouquets, custom wedding and funeral arrangements, and scented wax melts. Owner Tiffany Barham held a ribbon cutting today—she invites locals to call the shop or follow it on social media for details. WYN 106.9
