- ➤ Birth Choice, a nonprofit pregnancy clinic and adoption service serving West Tennessee, is hosting its tri-annual meat sale fundraiser featuring smoked ham, turkey, and more. - ➤ Ritz Magic Wheels in Jackson will host a winter break skate camp for kids on Monday, Dec. 29. Campers will learn skating basics and have access to rentals, lunch, and a 10% discount for families reserving two or more spots — no prior experience is needed. WBBJ-TV
- ➤ Rescued horses Luke and Rose offer a spark of hope to a local family this Christmas as they go to live on 50 acres with a young girl facing illness. Home Safe Horses Sanctuary previously cared for the pair (once critically emaciated) so they now brighten the holiday season. WYN 106.9

- ➤ The Tennessee Education Lottery law requires winners to be publicly identified when claiming the $781.3 million cash option for today's drawing after the jackpot rose to $1.7 billion.
