- ➤ Local stores in Jackson continue their holiday sales with Academy Sports and Outdoors offering up to 50 percent off fleece, boots, and hunting gear, and Sephora inside Kohl’s providing an extra 20 percent off sale items. - ➤ Construction has begun on the new Chick-fil-A at Vann Drive in Jackson, which will replace the Stonebridge Boulevard store that remains open during building; the new site is expected to open in 2026 (aiming to improve local access). WNBJ 39

- ➤ Local restaurant inspections were reported from December 19 to 23, 2025, with scores ranging from 93 to 100 across counties.
